Stimulus Information
While the second round of stimulus payments is currently underway, our Customer Care Center does not have any information regarding eligibility, timing or distribution of your individual Economic Impact Payment. These payments are initiated and distributed solely by the IRS. For the most up-to-date information on eligibility and payment amounts, visit the IRS website.
- The IRS will deliver payments via direct deposit, paper checks, and debit cards. Use the Get My Payment tool on the IRS website to enter your bank account info, check payment status and confirm your payment type.
- If you have a stimulus payment inquiry and would like immediate real-time account information, please call 1.888.623.2698, option 1 or view your account using Online or Mobile Banking.
Tip: Set up deposit alerts within our Online or Mobile Banking to get notified of when your stimulus payment is available in your account.
Temporary Branch Updates & Closures
As a precautionary measure to help stop the spread of COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our customers and employees, it may be necessary to temporarily close branches from time to time. Please check back frequently, as this list is updated on a daily basis.
Additionally, most branch locations will be accommodating customers through the drive-thru only. Customers may continue to access safe deposit boxes at these locations by contacting the branch directly and scheduling an appointment.
Please note: a limited number of hub locations will maintain full lobby access.
Promoting Health, Safety and the Well-Being for All
As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our communities, we want to express our heartfelt concern to all who are affected. The health and safety of our customers and team members is our foremost priority and we continue to enact impactful measures throughout our organization such as social distancing and work from home arrangements to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to closely monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) along with the guidance from our state and local officials and respond accordingly.
In The Community
OceanFirst Foundation, a separate charitable entity established at the time of the Company’s initial public offering in 1996, provides grants to non-profit organizations that meet community needs in a defined service area, also announced Coronavirus-related relief measures.
The Foundation has established a $250,000 grant pool to support non-profit organizations that have been directly impacted by COVID-19. Starting March 17, 2020, non-profit organizations can find additional information by visiting oceanfirstfdn.org.
Due to the disruption of many school schedules, the Foundation has deferred its Model Classroom grant program. This is expected to provide teachers additional time to submit grant applications. The Model Classroom program provides grants to local schools that provide innovative solutions to learning.
