Lost or Stolen Debit Card
If you believe your OceanFirst Bank Debit Card has been lost, stolen, or used without your authority, contact the Customer Care Center as soon as possible. If outside of Care Center hours, please call 1.800.472.3272.
Activate Debit Cards & Reset Debit Card PINs
To activate your new debit card, or to reset your PIN, please call 1.800.757.9848.
If calling from outside the United States, before calling to activate your card, please call 1.888.623.2698 so we can ensure your current phone number in our systems.
Debit Card Transaction Alerts
Our Fraud Center will try to reach you if unusual activity is suspected. If we have your cell phone number on file, we will first try sending you a text message to confirm you approve of the transaction.
- If you recognize the transaction, respond YES.
- If you do not recognize the transaction, respond NO.
If you do not respond to the text, our Fraud Center will attempt to call you. If we do not receive a response, your card will be disabled. If you are not comfortable replying to the message, call our Customer Care team during business hours or call 1.833.735.1892 after hours.
If you got a call from our Fraud Center and would prefer a text message, contact our Care Center or your branch and ask them to add your mobile phone number to your profile.
Lost or Stolen Credit Card
If you believe your OceanFirst Bank Credit Card has been lost, stolen, or used without your authority, call as soon as possible.

If you have vacation plans or will be on the road for business, give us a heads-up so that we can make note that OceanFirst Bank Debit Card activity may occur outside of your normal footprint. This way, we'll know it's still you making transactions and you can avoid unnecessary spending interruptions.

Consumer Loan Payments
Please be aware that payments made after 4:00pm EST Monday through Thursday will post on the next business day. Payments made after 4:00pm EST on Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday will be posted on Monday’s business day. If Monday is a Holiday it will post on the next business day after the holiday.Make A Loan Payment
