Congratulations to our August 2025 WaveMaker of the Month!

How long have you been a member of the OceanFirst Bank team? What 
role do you play on the Bank Team? I have been with OceanFirst for 12 years. I started as a Part Time Teller in 2013 and I am now the Branch Engagement Banker in the Cape May Court House branch.

What has been your favorite volunteer activity – and why? I enjoyed the Beach Sweeps we have completed the most. I love going to the beach, so cleaning the beach and protecting our ocean is very important to me.

What has volunteering taught you? Volunteering has taught me to see things from another perspective. Helping people has taught me a lot of personal growth as far as putting myself in other people’s shoes.

How would you spend a million dollars? If I had a million dollars, I would first put money away for my son, so he had a head-start on life. I then would pay off my mortgage and buy a Pocono house. I also would buy a new mom car.

If you had one day left to live, how would you spend it? If I had one day left to live, I would spend it at the beach with my husband and my son.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? When I was younger, my dream job was to be a detective or anything in law enforcement. 

What is your favorite quote? My favorite quote is “Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

Are you a morning person or a night owl? I am a morning person. I feel if I sleep past 8 am the whole day is over.
