How long have you been a member of the OceanFirst Bank team? I have been a team member for 8 years.
What role do you play on the Bank Team? 1I am currently an AVP-Supervisor for Specialized Lending.
What has been your favorite volunteer activity – and why? I am torn with this question so I will give you two. Chariot Riders because I have an abundance of love for animals, they cannot help themselves, but we can! Camp abilities at the Field of Dreams serving lunch to the blind campers because I can be their eyes guiding them on what to pick for lunch along with dancing and singing with them!
What has volunteering taught you? Volunteering has taught me to be humble, kind, thoughtful, and empathetic. There is something about making a positive impact on someone’s life that is fulfilling and puts your own life into perspective and be truly grateful for what you have. Everyone needs kindness, love and support.
If you could turn into an animal, what would it be? Dolphin, I love the ocean and how they interact with each other and humans, it’s beautiful to see.
How would you spend a million dollars? I would buy a farm-sanctuary to welcome sheltered abandoned animals.
If you had one day left to live, how would you spend it? With my family on a yacht in the ocean.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? Marine Biologist, tag and study marine life in the Caribbean.
What was the last thing that made you laugh? I am a dog mom, so it was my son Roman (Roro) who weighs 90lbs and full of love. He is a rescue boxer, Rhodesian ridgeback mix who does not like to take a bath. He had one yesterday then rolled around in the grass in the backyard…its typical lol
