Congratulations to our May WaveMaker of the Month!

How long have you been a member of the OceanFirst Bank team? What role do you play on the Bank Team?  I’ve been with OceanFirst for 7 years and I am the Director of Financial Close & Planning.

What has been your favorite volunteer activity – and why?  Outside of work, I am a board member of the American Littoral Society, a non-profit dedicated to coastal conservation and marine life. I value the chance to give back to our community and support their cause.

What has volunteering taught you?  Volunteering has taught me that small actions can create meaningful change when people come together. It showed me the power of empathy, consistency, and collective effort in making a real difference.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?   Cereal — it’s easy, comforting, and something I never get tired of.

If you could pick a superpower, what would it be? Teleportation — because skipping airports, jet lag, and long lines while popping up anywhere in the world sounds like a dream come true.

What was the last book you read? “Twice” by Mitch Albom. It’s about a man that can live any moment of his life twice and choose the better outcome.

Are you a traveler or a homebody? I’m definitely a traveler. I love exploring new places, and each year we make it a goal to visit a country we haven’t been to before. Our upcoming trips include Monaco, and Japan.

Are you a morning person or a night owl? I’m a morning person. I love getting up early and being productive before the rest of the family wakes up—it’s my best time to focus and get things done.
