How long have you been a member of the OceanFirst Bank team? What role do you play on the Bank Team? I have been with OceanFirst Bank for 3 and a half years, and I am the Senior Commercial Loan Relationship Associate for the Boston team.
What has been your favorite volunteer activity – and why? My favorite volunteer activity was setting up activity books and making after school snacks for the kids who are enrolled in the EnrichEd program organized by Housing Families. I live in one of the towns Housing Families provide services to and learning how many programs and services they have for kids year-round was amazing.
What has volunteering taught you? Volunteering has taught me the importance of giving back when I have the means, and privilege to do so. It’s shown me that support can make a meaningful difference, especially during times when many people are facing significant challenges. I believe there’s a shared responsibility to help those in less fortunate positions because communities are strongest when we look out for one another.
What was the last book you read? The last book I read was Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I don’t normally reach for a Sci-Fi book, but this was my book club’s choice and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the movie to come out in March!
Are you a traveler or a homebody? I am a traveler! I was fortunate enough to live overseas when I was younger, so I caught the travel bug early. My husband and I are constantly planning new trips, and I’m always on the lookout for our next adventure.
What is the last TV show you binged and what review would you give it? The last show I binged was The Gilded Age on HBO Max. I love historical fiction, and that particular time period has always fascinated me. It had everything I was looking for in a show, and I’m excited to see what season 4 brings for the characters.
